Material Handling

Robotic cells that load the machine and take the part away: machining centers and lathes, transfer machines, die casting machines, forging presses and trimming presses. Most of them are vision-guided. The camera finds the part on the conveyor, so there are no part fixtures, and a new part means a new model, not new tooling.

What our handling cells share

Different machines, the same way of working.

  • The camera finds the part

95% of our projects are vision-guided. Parts go on the conveyor loose, and our IROVISION software locates each one. No fixtures to make, store or scrap when the order ends.

  • One platform, tested before it ships

Robot, conveyors and guarding on one welded frame. The cell runs its full cycle at our plant, ships in one piece, and moves with the machine when the line changes.

  • The machine sets the pace

A machine waiting for a robot is a loss. Our standard cells pair one robot with one machine, and the robot keeps up with a transfer machine’s rhythm or a press’s stroke.

One plant, 120 robots

Our first feeding cell for a transfer machine went to Torun Metal in 2014. By the end of 2025 we had installed 120 of the 140 robots in their plant: an IROCUBE at each of 60 FANUC Robodrills, and feeding cells at 11 transfer machines.

Send us your part and your machine

Every handling cell starts with the part, the machine and the cycle. Tell us about them, send us samples, and we will set up the right project with you.
